Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)
At Onward Health, we are proud to support Australia’s veterans through DVA. Our Occupational Therapy services are designed to help you maintain independence, improve quality of life, and continue engaging in the activities that matter most.
If you hold a Veteran Gold Card or a Veteran White Card (for accepted conditions), you may be eligible for fully funded occupational therapy services. With a referral from your GP or medical specialist, we can work with you in the comfort of your home or community to:
Assess your daily living needs and develop tailored strategies to support independence.
Prescribe and arrange equipment or assistive technology to enhance safety and comfort.
Recommend and coordinate minor home modifications such as rails, ramps, or bathroom adjustments.
Provide cognitive and upper limb rehabilitation to support wellbeing and participation in meaningfully activities.
Offer carer education and strategies to reduce burden and improve confidence at home.
Our team understands the unique needs of veterans and works closely with GPs, specialists, and DVA to ensure services are timely, respectful, and goal-driven.
